Description
The USDA Forest Service is seeking a firm-fixed-price supply contract for six 8-foot cattle guard grids, two 12-foot cattle guard grids, four pairs of 7-foot concrete bases, four pairs of 8-foot concrete bases, two pairs of 12-foot concrete bases, and four pairs of removable steel wings. All items must meet the specified AASHTO HL-93 load ratings, be fabricated from welded structural steel or reinforced precast concrete as applicable, and receive the required corrosion-resistant paint finish. Products must be manufactured in the United States and have clear traceability to the original equipment manufacturer or an authorized distributor. The contractor must provide pricing for every line item, a detailed list of proposed products, product literature demonstrating technical compliance, a proposed delivery date within 90 days after award, a signed SF 1449, a completed Schedule of Items, and the Buy American Certificate. The contractor is responsible for delivery only; the Forest Service will provide unloading equipment, and no installation or site work is required.
