Laramie Rivers Conservation District (LRCD) is requesting proposals for professional engineering services to design the rehabilitation of a segment of the Laramie River located within the Wyoming Game and Fish Department's Jelm Wildlife Habitat Management Area (WHMA), approximately 26 miles southwest of Laramie, Wyoming. The project aims to improve water quality, enhance wild brown trout habitat, reduce bank erosion and channel overwidening, and improve boating access. The scope includes developing three alternatives to 10% design, then advancing one preferred alternative through 60% and 100% design, including hydrologic, geomorphic, and hydraulic assessments, topographic surveys, and cost estimates. Optional services include cultural resource surveys and wetland delineations. The optimal construction window is July through September, with brown trout spawning restrictions from October 15 to November 30. The design timeline runs from October 2026 through April 2027, with potential construction oversight from July to December 2027.
