The U.S. Air Force is soliciting a contractor to replace aging and peeling carpet and upgrade interiors to the new Space Force theme at Schriever Space Force Base. The contractor must procure the specified carpet through one of seven Tier 1 manufacturers under the USAF Carpet Program, with no contractor markup or profit permitted on items purchased through those Tier 1 contracts. The contractor will be responsible for subsequent delivery and installation. The proposal must include a technical narrative describing the work approach, schedule and phasing, punch-list completion period, ultimate completion date, and management of other Statement of Work requirements, along with a proposed bill of materials and a Level One self-attestation addressing the company's financial and technical resources. Approved color schemes specify patterned-loop carpet tiles, generally 24 by 24 inches, with Space Force options including Mannington Commercial Oro in Santorini or Mohawk Framed Structure in Charcoal.
