Description
The New York City Housing Authority is soliciting 11 development-specific requirement contracts for the installation of vinyl composition floor tile in apartments at housing developments in Queens and Staten Island. The contracts will be awarded through RFQ numbers 522155 through 522165, with an award-limiting provision generally restricting a contractor to one contract initially and potentially one additional contract under specified conditions. Each contract will have a three-year term beginning on the award date or issuance of the Notice to Proceed, with up to two one-year renewal periods at NYCHA's discretion. The work is subject to Davis-Bacon prevailing wage requirements. As a precondition to bidding, the bidder and each identified subcontractor must be registered with the New York State Department of Labor under Labor Law Section 220-i, and bidders must be approved through the NYCHA Tile Pre-Qualification List. Section 3 REO and OEO plans must be submitted separately through eComply by the bid deadline and must not be included in the iSupplier bid submission.
