Description
The University of Wyoming is soliciting professional engineering and design services for evaluation and replacement of the existing coal denseveyor system at its Central Energy Plant. The selected consultant will perform a field evaluation of the existing denseveyor equipment and associated coal-conveying piping, structural, electrical, controls, instrumentation, compressed-air and utility connections, access requirements, clearances, and site limitations. The consultant must develop a complete design package suitable for competitive bidding and construction, including demolition, mechanical, structural, electrical, controls and instrumentation drawings, equipment arrangements and schedules, coal-conveying diagrams, data sheets, design criteria, permits that may be required, and an engineering construction cost estimate. Proposal materials must address firm qualifications, relevant coal-handling and conveying experience, project approach, schedule, fee proposal, construction-bidding assistance, and construction administration. The design is required to be completed by February 1, 2027. Responses are limited to 10 pages excluding the cover, with the project approach limited to four pages.
