Description
Middle Georgia State University, a unit of the Board of Regents of the University System of Georgia, is seeking statements of qualifications from general contractors to provide task-order contractor and design-build services for small flooring installation, repair, and replacement construction projects across its campuses. Work may include carpet, VCT/LVT, ceramic and porcelain tile, epoxy/resinous flooring, subfloor preparation, construction management, cost estimating, value engineering, design analysis, constructability reviews, scheduling, subcontractor coordination, safety, quality assurance, and closeout services. The resulting blanket task-order contracts will be issued for an indefinite amount of as-needed construction work, with a maximum aggregate task-order agreement value of $2,000,000 and an intended minimum of three contracts. Individual task orders of $100,000 or more require 100% performance and payment bonds, although bonds may be required for smaller task orders at the university's discretion. The initial qualification submittal is electronic, followed by live interviews for shortlisted firms; shortlisted firms must submit a sealed financial offer at the final interview. Firms must meet specified general-contractor, licensing, experience, bonding, insurance, work-authorization, financial, personnel, safety, and project-experience requirements.
