Description
Jordan School District has issued a notice of intent to award a contract to Swank Motion Pictures Inc. without a standard procurement process under Utah Procurement Code Section 63G-6a-802. The notice concerns motion picture performances and licensing, and is based on the District's determination that there is only one source or that transitional costs make a standard procurement process unreasonable. This is not a solicitation for quotes, bids, or proposals. Vendors that contest the proposed sole-source procurement must submit their company name and a detailed written explanation, including documentation demonstrating the existence of competing sources. Vendors that agree the purchase is a valid sole source do not need to respond.
