Description
Salt Lake County, through its Surveyor's Office, is establishing a qualified contractor pool for as-needed monument installation, repair, replacement, and rehabilitation. Work may include raising monument rings and lids, installing new monuments, repairing collars, obtaining right-of-way permits, restoring roadway surfaces, coordinating utility locations, and providing labor, equipment, and contractor-supplied materials. County-provided materials include monument rings, lids, risers, columns, brass, and other County-approved monument materials. The pool may also support boundary, cadastral, ALTA/NSPS, topographical, as-built, construction, right-of-way, control, flood plain, bathymetric, utility, investigative, volume calculation, and lidar surveys; mapping and platting; legal-description preparation and review; record research; and Public Land Survey System corner reports. Contractors must meet applicable surveying, safety, permitting, documentation, professional-licensure, and County standards, provide a project manager, and submit an hourly rate covering required services and associated costs. Resulting work will be assigned project by project, with multiple contracts possible; the solicitation states that the total result will not exceed $50,000.
