Submission Instructions
Description
The Utah Department of Transportation is soliciting bids for a single-provider, five-year agency contract to supply W-beam and thrie-beam guardrail products and components on an as-needed, on-call basis. The scope includes galvanized W-beam and thrie-beam panels; wood and galvanized steel posts; offset blocks; W-beam-to-thrie-beam transitions; connector plates and terminals; Type I anchor assemblies and related plates, cables, and bearing plates; buried-in-backslope terminal posts; curved W-beam panels; and galvanized bolts, nuts, and washers. Materials may be picked up by the department or its representatives or delivered by the supplier. The solicitation includes a pricing sheet covering unit prices, delivery charges, pickup charges, and expedited delivery, as well as a sample project for evaluation. Pricing is guaranteed for one year, with subsequent adjustments subject to advance notice and approval. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder based on lowest total cost, with no guaranteed purchase volume.
