Description
The Utah Division of Purchasing has issued a notice of intent to increase the total amount of Contract 256005, awarded to Tourism Exchange USA LLC for a business-to-business tourism marketplace platform. The proposed contract total is $632,800, compared with the original and current contract total of $210,000, representing a 202% increase. The notice states that the contract was inadvertently written for five years but included only the first year's funding. The additional funding consists of $70,000 for Year 2 and up to $117,600 for each of the remaining three years, totaling $422,800 in additional funding. Vendors may contest the proposed action by submitting the contesting person's name, a detailed explanation of the challenge, and documentation showing that another vendor can provide a comparable, better, equivalent, or competing procurement item. The notice is not a standard competitive solicitation.
