Description
Sandy City is soliciting a contractor to construct site improvements for a pre-purchased stationary packaged generator at the Pepperwood Booster Station and improvements enabling connection to a mobile generator at the Wildflower Well. The work includes clearing and grubbing, excavation, structural backfill, removal and replacement of an existing masonry retaining wall, construction of a new 10-foot concrete retaining wall, a concrete driveway and equipment pad, maintenance access, wrought-iron fencing and gates, landscaping, irrigation, generator installation and fuel, and electrical upgrades at the Wildflower site. The contractor will install and connect owner-furnished generator and automatic transfer switch equipment, including conduits, conductors, grounding, controls, testing, commissioning, and load-testing support. The solicitation requires a five-percent bid bond, 100-percent performance and payment bonds, insurance, qualifications and financial documentation, subcontractor and supplier information, and documented experience with comparable retaining-wall and generator projects. The contractor must perform at least 60 percent of the work. The question deadline is September 25, 2026, and the response deadline is September 29, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. Mountain Time.
