Description
The 55th Contracting Squadron requires a jet aerobatic demonstration for the "Defenders of Freedom" Air and Space Show at Offutt Air Force Base, Nebraska, on August 8 and 9, 2026. The demonstration must feature one MiG-17F and one F-4 aircraft. The government intends to award this contract on a sole source basis to Fighterjets Inc, as they are believed to be the only entity capable of providing this specific dual-aircraft demonstration and possess the necessary Level I FAA certification for extreme aerobatic maneuvers. This certification is unique and allows for unrestricted performance. While a sole source award is intended, other responsible entities are encouraged to submit quotations. Any interested party must demonstrate similar FAA certification for fighter jet aerobatics. Submissions should be emailed to the provided contact with the Notice ID in the subject line. The Statement of Work details requirements for FAA compliance, aircraft paint schemes, performance schedules, media kits, interviews, and logistical support including fuel, nitrogen, oxygen, ladders, tow bars, padding, engine oil, lodging, and ground transportation.
