The District of Taylor is seeking proposals from qualified proponents to operate the food concession located within the District Ice Centre in Taylor, British Columbia. The District Ice Centre is a 1,100-person capacity facility with one NHL-sized rink, a separate leisure ice pad, and an indoor play structure. It also hosts large events during the off-season, such as dog shows and powwows. During the winter months (mid-September to mid-April), the facility is scheduled for use seven days a week by various user groups, with Minor Sports being the primary user during weekday evenings and weekend days. The concession services are a key component of the facility's operations and event hosting capabilities.
