Description
The Metropolitan Utilities District (MUD) is soliciting sealed bids for guard services across several of its facilities. The contract period is from September 1, 2026, to August 31, 2029. The services will be required at the following locations: M.U.D. Headquarters, Operating & Construction Center 1, Construction Center 2 (CC2), Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) Plant, Florence Water Treatment Plant, Platte South Water Treatment Plant, and Platte West Water Treatment Plant. All bids must be submitted electronically through the MUD ProcureWare website by Thursday, July 9, 2026, at 10:30 a.m. Bidders must first complete and have approved a Pre-Qualification of Bidders Agreement, Guard Services Bidder Qualifications and Operational Capacity Questionnaire, and a Confidentiality Agreement. These pre-qualification documents will be available for download starting Wednesday, June 17, 2026, at Noon. Bidders must also comply with the Nebraska Foreign Adversary Contracting Prohibition Act. Clarifying questions are due by June 26, 2026, at 4:00 p.m., with responses posted as an addendum by July 1, 2026, at 4:00 p.m. For questions regarding bid documents, contact Sherri Lightfoot at (402) 504-7253.
