Description
This is a Request for Quote (RFQ) for the 2-34th BCT Yellow Ribbon Event to be held in Sioux City, Iowa, from August 14-15, 2026. The contractor will be responsible for providing all personnel, facilities, equipment, tools, materials, and supervision necessary for the event. Key services required include: - Lodging: 40 non-smoking sleeping rooms with two beds each, available on Friday, August 14, 2026. The contractor must provide a flat, firm-fixed-price room rate inclusive of taxes and fees. Cancellations are permitted up to 10 days prior to the event without penalty. - Meeting Spaces: Various meeting rooms are required, including a registration area, resource area, general session room (accommodating 450 people with sound system, projector, and screens), breakout rooms (accommodating 175 people each with audio/visual equipment), a child & youth room, and a childcare room. - Meals: On Saturday, August 15, 2026, the contractor must provide 450 hot, individually plated lunch meals and 24 children's lunch meals. Beverages (coffee and water) must be replenished throughout the day. - Parking: Parking passes for attendees are required for August 14-15, 2026, with an estimated quantity of 450 passes. The event venue should be located within a twenty-five (25) mile radius of 3200 Remington Ave, Sioux City, IA 51111. The government prefers that meeting rooms and lodging are co-located, but if in separate venues, they must be within walking distance.
