Description
The City of Albany is seeking qualified firms to provide downtown event planning services on an as-needed basis. The selected event planner will work with the Downtown Manager to coordinate signature events such as the Celebration of Lights, Food Truck Frenzy, and Shop and Stroll. Services may include developing event concepts, coordinating vendors and participants, managing event logistics, and coordinating with city departments for public safety and parking. Proposals should include company information, a description of event planning experience, examples of at least three similar events, proposed pricing for each signature event, payment terms, proof of insurance, and at least three client references from the past seven years. The contract will be for one year with two one-year renewal options. Pricing should cover all planning, coordination, event-day staffing, and support services.
