Description
The City of Lincoln is soliciting bids for the replacement of the roof at the 51st Street pump station. The project involves removal of existing roofing materials and installation of a new roofing system, including a fully adhered 90 mil EPDM membrane, tapered polyisocyanurate insulation, and cover boards. All work must comply with applicable codes and standards, including FM Global requirements for wind uplift, hail rating, and fire exposure. The project also includes associated carpentry, sheet metal flashing, and roof specialties. The contractor must attend a mandatory pre-bid meeting and submit various certifications and affidavits. Performance and payment bonds each in the amount of 100% of the contract amount will be required.
