Description
The City of Lincoln, Nebraska is soliciting bids for the 2026 arterial paving rehabilitation project on 48th Street from Normal Boulevard to Cotner Boulevard. The project includes asphalt milling and overlay, concrete pavement repairs, sidewalk and curb ramp replacements, storm drainage improvements, traffic signal installation at South Street, construction of a roundabout at Sumner Street, and associated pavement markings and signing. The project is divided into two phases: Phase 1 (northern segment including roundabout) with substantial completion by October 30, 2026, and Phase 2 (southern segment including traffic signal) with substantial completion by July 30, 2027. Final completion of all work is required by September 30, 2027. Liquidated damages apply for delays.
