The City of Omaha is soliciting bids for the construction of a new fire station. The project involves building a 12,512-square-foot, precast concrete fire station with three apparatus bays. The scope includes initial site development of an undeveloped lot, featuring a mandatory soil surcharge process prior to building construction. All work must result in a complete, fully functional facility, including utility connections, parking lots, and landscaping, in strict accordance with the provided project drawings and specifications. This project has a Small and Emerging Small Business (SEB) reserve. Bidders must submit an Economic Sustainability Plan (ESP) and are required to have a "Class A or B" City of Omaha General Contractor's License at the time of bid. A bid bond is required, with acceptable substitutes listed. The anticipated Notice to Proceed date is September 1, 2026.
