Description
This solicitation is a Request for Quote (RFQ) for the Iowa Army National Guard's 2-34th BCT Yellow Ribbon Event, to be held in Council Bluffs, Iowa, on August 27-28, 2026. The contractor will be responsible for providing all personnel, facilities, equipment, tools, materials, and supervision necessary for the event. Key requirements include providing 30 sleeping rooms for Thursday night, August 27, 2026, and various meeting spaces including a registration area, resource area, general session room for 300 people, a breakout room for 125 people, a child and youth room, and a childcare room. Meal services are also required, including lunch for 300 attendees and 15 children on Friday, August 28, 2026, along with beverages. Parking passes for approximately 300 attendees are also needed for both days. The venue should be located within a 25-mile radius of 2415 East Canesville Blvd, Council Bluffs, IA 51503. While co-location of meeting rooms and lodging is preferred, it is not required as long as meeting venues are within walking distance of the lodging. The solicitation is a total small business set-aside.
