Description
Douglas County is soliciting bids for seasonal facilities winterization and spring start-up services for various park facilities. This includes winterizing and preparing for spring start-up a range of facilities such as pool bathhouses, pump houses, concessions/restroom buildings, backflows, drinking fountains/hydrants, pavilions, and dog park fountains. The scope of work involves shutting off water devices, winterizing pipes and fixtures with air and drain-downs, and ensuring proper water displacement. Spring start-up includes reassembling fixtures and priming systems. The contract may be extended for three additional one-year terms. The county reserves the right to add or remove facilities from the contract and may require repairs to plumbing systems as needed, with prior approval.
