Description
Douglas County is soliciting bids for soil remediation services across multiple designated sites. Only companies pre-qualified by the City of Omaha Planning Department are eligible to bid. Bidders must submit proposals for all sites, as the award will be made on a total bid amount basis. A bid bond or acceptable substitute, based on 5% of the total bid if $50,000 or more, is required and must be submitted both electronically and in original form to the City Clerk within seven calendar days of the closing date. The solicitation also includes requirements for a Responsible Contractor Compliance Form, an Employee Classification Act affidavit, and adherence to fair labor standards. Insurance requirements vary based on the scope of work, with higher limits for projects $200,000 or more. A performance bond equal to the vendor's bid is required within ten days of contract award.
