Description
Polk County Conservation Board is soliciting bids for a complete fixed-grip quad chairlift system for Sleepy Hollow Sports Park. The scope includes chairlift equipment, manufacturer design and engineering documentation, freight, installation, controls and communications systems, testing, commissioning, operator and maintenance documentation, training, and closeout documentation. The system is specified for a 541-foot slope length and 528-foot horizontal length, with a 117-foot vertical rise, 1,800 passengers per hour design and initial capacity, 400 feet per minute line speed, four-seat chairs, loading conveyor and gate, galvanized towers and wire rope, diesel auxiliary and evacuation drives, and 24 bike carriers including one adaptive bike seat. The base bid includes 25% download capacity, with 100% download capacity and accessible carrier design listed as bid alternatives. The contractor must coordinate with owner-provided or separately contracted site work, complete required construction and installation activities, and provide a performance bond equal to 100% of the contract amount. A completed Bid Proposal Form and Bidder Status Form are required with the bid.
