Description
The City of Des Moines Neighborhood Services, Property Improvement Division, is soliciting sealed bids from qualified vendors for repairs to one single-family home. The scope includes window replacement; rear entry door and storm-door replacement; siding removal and replacement; wall removal and infill; metal wrapping of porch columns; pressure-treated plywood installation; PVC trim installation; removal of a window air-conditioning unit and metal awning; and soffit and fascia repair or replacement, including aluminum soffit panels and fascia wrapping. Responses must be submitted through the electronic bidding system by the stated deadline; faxed, emailed, mailed, and hand-delivered responses are not accepted. The solicitation requires current Iowa Department of Labor licensure, three client references, a completed Insurance Carrier form, and completed bid and line-item pricing responses.
