Description
The Iowa Department of Administrative Services Fleet Services is seeking bids from qualified dealerships to provide MY27 Chevrolet or equivalent police pursuit and special service vehicles. The requested vehicles include Chevrolet Tahoe pursuit and special service vehicles, Chevrolet Silverado 1500 four-wheel-drive crew-cab pickups with short and standard beds, and Chevrolet Traverse law-enforcement vehicles. Six vehicle line items are identified, with one vehicle requested for each line item. Bidders must complete the attached vehicle specification worksheet and provide vehicles meeting or exceeding its requirements. The solicitation requires a dealership with a physical location in Iowa and includes pricing for vehicle specifications, options, upfitting, discounts, and delivery. Requested equipment may include emergency lighting, siren and speaker wiring, push bumpers, spotlights, partitions, ballistic floor protection, cargo lighting, surveillance features, and extended warranties. Vehicles must be delivered FOB destination, freight prepaid, to Iowa DAS Fleet at 510 East 12th Street, Des Moines, Iowa. The resulting contract will be available to Iowa state agencies and eligible political subdivisions.
