Description
The California Science Center is soliciting bids for comprehensive elevator, escalator, and wheelchair lift services. The scope includes monthly preventive maintenance and fire testing, annual safety inspections, emergency callback and repair services, escalator deep cleaning, and five-year load testing for ten conveyance units located at the Science Center and an associated school facility. The contractor must provide all labor, parts, tools, equipment, transportation, permits, licenses, and related supplies. Requirements include a valid California C-11 Elevator Contractor License, properly licensed and registered certified elevator technicians, 24-hour dispatching, specified emergency response times, original manufacturer parts, service reports and maintenance logs, prevailing-wage compliance, and required insurance. Bidders must submit the required bid forms, cost sheets, references, licenses, insurance certificate, and other certifications. The initial term is three years with two one-year renewal options.
