Description
The City of Boise Aviation Department is soliciting a formal bid for the procurement, manufacture, delivery, and installation of two public transportation escalators, two Rotunda elevators, two Concourse A elevators, and associated electrical, mechanical, control, safety, and integration systems for the Boise Airport terminal. The base bid includes two escalators and two Rotunda elevators; two Concourse A elevators and their installation are listed as add alternates. The work includes coordination with the airport's broader Concourse Development and Terminal Improvements project, including delivery and installation sequencing and Construction Safety and Phasing Plan compliance. Bidders must submit signed electronic bid materials through Jaggaer, including the proposal signature page, 5% bid security, references, proposal affidavit, federal certifications, DBE-related forms, bidder and subcontractor disclosures, and required licensing information. The solicitation requires at least three current professional references for similar work and identifies approved elevator and escalator manufacturers, while allowing equal or equivalent requests. Installation is anticipated from March 1 through August 31, 2029, subject to change, with a five-year full-service maintenance period following the warranty maintenance period.
