Description
The project involves renovation of the Village of Minster Library and includes furnishing and installing a limited-use/limited-application (LULA) elevator system. The specified system is a roped hydraulic elevator with a nominal 1,400-pound capacity, 30 feet-per-minute speed, two landings, a 42-by-60-inch platform, automatic two-speed doors, stainless-steel car doors, accessibility features, emergency recall, and associated controls, wiring, equipment, and finishes. The work includes coordination with related masonry, fire protection, electrical, and building systems. The contractor must provide product data, shop drawings, samples, qualification statements, testing and inspection, operational testing, demonstrations, owner training, a two-year manufacturer warranty, and a one-year maintenance contract beginning at substantial completion. The addendum adds two acceptable manufacturers and requires bidders to acknowledge receipt on the Bid Form; failure to acknowledge the addendum may disqualify a bidder.
