Description
The Kenton County Airport Board is soliciting bids for passenger conveyance equipment for the terminal modernization program at Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport. The base purchase includes eight heavy-duty escalators, five hydraulic passenger elevators, two traction passenger elevators, and four heavy-duty moving walkways, including controls, accessories, monitoring components, factory testing, shipping and delivery, manufacturer support, shop drawings, equipment submittals, operations and maintenance manuals, warranties, spare parts, and maintenance materials. Bidders may also price optional installation, including removal and disposal of existing equipment, structural and electrical modifications, integration with fire alarm, communications, and monitoring systems, testing, commissioning, training, phased construction, and maintaining passenger circulation. Optional off-site storage may be priced for up to 24 months. The solicitation also requests technical documentation, lead times, parts and support information, warranty documentation, logistics plans, qualifications, and required federal-aid certifications. The agreement term is one year, with separate pricing requested for five years of post-warranty maintenance. A 100% performance and payment bond is required before award of the installation alternate, and the proposal must include a 5% proposal bond.
