Description
The State of Iowa is seeking professional services to assess, conserve, restore, repair, and maintain approximately 48 state-owned historic and civic monuments and related features throughout the Iowa Capitol Complex. The scope includes condition assessments, recommended treatments, restoration, maintenance, repair, documentation, and preservation work intended to protect historical and architectural integrity while minimizing disruption to state operations and the public. Monument information is provided in Attachment 2, and no site visit is scheduled because the monuments are on public grounds and may be viewed at any time. The contract term begins December 1, 2026, and ends November 30, 2027, with renewal by mutual agreement for up to five additional years. The solicitation package includes the main solicitation, a cost proposal attachment, monument information, and a response checklist.
