Description
Polk County is soliciting bids for construction to rehabilitate an existing 120-inch CMP culvert on NE 29th Street. The work includes approximately 153 linear feet of steel-reinforced polyethylene pipe slip-lining, approximately 155 cubic yards of flowable mortar or foamed cellular concrete to fill the annular void, and construction of two reinforced concrete headwalls. The project also includes clearing and grubbing, seeding, revetment placement, dewatering, culvert cleaning and preparation, utility coordination, and maintenance of access to adjacent properties. The SRPE liner must be manufactured in the United States and comply with specified ASTM or AASHTO standards. Bidders must submit required product data, structural design calculations, and a grouting plan certified by an engineer. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive, responsible bidder based on unit prices.
