Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs is soliciting a contractor to provide all tools, materials, components, labor, and supervision necessary to modernize elevators 1 through 8 in the Damen Building and the morgue elevator at Jesse Brown VA Medical Center. Work must follow the construction documents, drawings, and specifications. Amendment 0007 extends the bid deadline to November 19, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. Central Time; responses to requests for information received to date are forthcoming. The opportunity is a 100% set-aside for SBA-verified Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses. The project has a 542-calendar-day period of performance, a stated magnitude of $10 million to $20 million, a bid guarantee of at least 20% of the bid price subject to a $3 million maximum, and required payment and performance bonds equal to the awarded contract value.
