Description
The City of Providence Department of Housing & Human Services is requesting proposals for one-time infrastructure enhancements that create long-term capacity for organizations providing substance use treatment and recovery supports. Eligible projects may address facility capacity, including capital renovations and ADA-related modifications; organizational capacity, including software, durable supplies, IT systems, and program materials; or staffing capacity, including training, certifications, and professional development. Projects must support evidence-based treatment or recovery practices and expand access for unserved or underserved populations. Applicants must provide a proposal narrative of no more than five single-spaced pages, a separate work timeline, a detailed line-item budget and budget justification, information about other funding sources, fiscal-capacity information, and a certificate of good standing for a 501(c)(3) organization or applicable Recovery House certification. Supporting documents are optional and limited to 10 pages. The project period is January 1, 2027, through December 31, 2027. The City anticipates multiple awards totaling no more than $275,000.
