Description
Bristol Community College seeks a contractor for snow and ice removal at its Fall River, Attleboro, and New Bedford campuses. Services include plowing parking lots, roads, loading docks, access areas, and specified walkways; shoveling or salting walkways at the New Bedford campus; and applying road salt or other deicing agents. Service is generally required before 7:00 a.m. while classes are in session, with additional service during or after weather events as directed by the Director of Buildings and Grounds. The initial contract covers the 2026–2027 and 2027–2028 winter seasons, with options for three additional winter seasons through 2030–2031. Contractors must provide pricing by snowfall depth and for road salt application, describe employee training, provide current or recent account references, and identify the snow-removal and salt-application equipment to be used. All work must be performed with contractor-owned equipment, and subcontracting is prohibited. Responses must use the provided exhibits and include company information, non-collusion and tax-compliance certifications, pricing exhibits, and a W-9 copy.
