Description
This contract addendum establishes Rhode Island prevailing-wage obligations for contractors and subcontractors performing qualifying public works. Requirements include paying applicable prevailing wages and overtime, submitting subcontractor lists, posting wage information at the work site, reviewing updated wage rates annually, incorporating the addendum into subcontract agreements, and maintaining certified weekly payroll records. Additional obligations include maintaining daily prevailing-wage logs for qualifying general or primary contracts of at least $1,000,000, ensuring OSHA 10-hour construction safety certification for covered employees on projects of at least $100,000, providing healthcare benefits and qualifying fringe benefits, verifying required Rhode Island trade licenses, and signing and notarizing the certification acknowledging these obligations.
