Description
The project requires construction of 89 stormwater treatment units across 10 watersheds in Rhode Island. The scope includes hydrodynamic separators; infiltration and wet swales; infiltration, wet, and extended detention basins; lined and unlined sand filters; underground infiltration systems; armored channels; subsurface bioretention cells; IC disconnections; stabilized gravel paving; pavement removal; temporary traffic control; drainage structures, piping, excavation, dewatering, erosion and sediment controls, landscaping, paving, and related restoration. The work also includes handling, hauling, stockpiling, disposal, and management of contaminated and unclassified soils; potential installation of unanticipated soil caps using certified clean fill and filter fabric; environmental monitoring; and closure-report documentation. Federal-aid requirements include Buy America compliance, federal wage rates, nondiscrimination assurances, debarment certification, lobbying disclosure, and other required federal forms. The estimated total is $22,472,030. Substantial completion is required by October 20, 2028, and final acceptance by June 14, 2029.
