Description
Imperial Irrigation District is soliciting proposals for the Clubhouse Bale Expansion Project, which will implement a waterless dust-control plot on approximately 26 acres of Salton Sea playa. The work includes mobilization, environmental protection, site surveying, debris removal and off-site disposal, procurement and delivery of non-forage straw or kleingrass three-string bales, installation of the bales in accordance with the design drawings, and final as-built surveys and record drawings. The contractor must provide a Class A California General Engineering Contractor license, comply with applicable environmental, safety, prevailing-wage, permitting, and emissions requirements, and furnish the required proposal forms, references, methodology, schedule, licenses, safety documentation, bonding-capacity letter, and separately sealed cost proposal. The proposed contract term is approximately 12 months, with all work to be completed by February 2027. A mandatory meeting and jobwalk is required before submitting a response.
