Description
The Town of Davie is soliciting bids from a qualified, licensed contractor to demolish and dispose of the Potters Park concessions and restroom building, including its contents, slab, adjacent sidewalks, landscaping within the construction area, rails, and septic tank. The adjacent electrical building and its slab must remain protected and operational. The work includes utility disconnections and capping, permit acquisition and closeout, debris sorting and disposal through designated waste and recycling providers, refrigerant recovery, erosion controls, perimeter fencing, and compliance with applicable building, environmental, asbestos, lead, and OSHA requirements. After demolition, the contractor must remove debris, provide certified clean fill as needed, fine-grade and harmonize the site, hydroseed the demolition area, and provide a 30-day watering cycle. Bidders must provide a Florida general contractor's license, relevant demolition experience, equipment and personnel information, at least three similar-project references with contact information, applicable licenses and certifications, proof of insurance, business registration, W-9 information, and required affidavits and certifications through the procurement portal. Attendance at the mandatory pre-bid conference and site visit is required for eligibility.
