Description
Defence Construction Canada is inviting general contractors to express interest in performing the Enniskillen Road Upgrade in Gagetown, New Brunswick. The work will require all labor, materials, and equipment, including construction costs, on-site work, site utilities, parking and landscaping, redundant mechanical systems, communication conduits and wiring, backup power equipment, built-in equipment, and built-in furniture. Technical plans and specifications will be provided during the subsequent Tender Phase. This RFEOI is the first step of a two-step process. Only general contractors that respond through the Electronic Bidding System by the closing deadline will be invited to submit a proposal during the Tender Phase. The procurement includes an Indigenous Benefits Plan requiring Indigenous businesses or eligible joint ventures to participate as subcontractors or suppliers. The estimated construction cost limit is CAD 25,642,471, excluding HST, design costs, travel and disbursements, consultant fees and expenses, movable equipment and furniture, IT equipment, and contingencies. The Tender Phase is expected around November–December 2026, with substantial completion required by October 15, 2027, and final completion by November 15, 2027.
