Description
Imperial Irrigation District seeks a contractor to provide all labor, supervision, materials, tools, cleaning supplies, equipment, transportation, and other resources necessary for janitorial services at seven facilities in Calexico and Holtville. The scope includes cleaning and disinfecting common areas, offices, kitchens, lounges, restrooms, locker rooms, exterior access areas, glass, windows, furniture, equipment, plumbing fixtures, waste receptacles, and high-touch surfaces. Floor care includes sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, carpet shampooing, buffing, and stripping and waxing VCT flooring. Services are generally required Monday through Friday, excluding holidays, with work beginning at 4:00 p.m.; the Calexico Pay Station Building has a separate schedule requiring work between 6:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m. The proposed contract term is approximately 60 months, with services scheduled from April 1, 2027, through March 31, 2032. Respondents must submit a methodology, project schedule, company and personnel qualifications, licenses, references, completed response forms, and a separately sealed cost proposal. The solicitation also requires applicable California registration, insurance, safety programs, and compliance with prevailing-wage requirements.
