Description
The City of Rapid City Public Works Department is requesting professional engineering services for the Timmons Boulevard Sanitary Sewer Improvements Project. The selected consultant will support preliminary and final design, bidding, and basic and expanded construction services for replacement of approximately 1,200 linear feet of existing 8-inch and 10-inch sanitary sewer mains with a larger-capacity main. The consultant must evaluate the appropriate sewer-main size and alignment and develop the required design reports, surveys, plans, specifications, cost estimates, easement documentation, permits, utility coordination, erosion and sediment control plans, traffic control plans, and construction documents. Optional or separately negotiated services may include bid administration, pre-bid and pre-construction meetings, construction submittal review, daily on-site observation, testing, pay requests, change orders, project closeout, as-built documents, and warranty-period support. Proposals will be evaluated based on qualifications, technical and management capabilities, relevant experience, project team, and proposed approach; shortlisted firms may be invited to interviews. A current certificate of insurance, including errors and omissions coverage, is required with the proposal, with a minimum of $1,000,000 in errors and omissions coverage. The proposal must be signed by an authorized official and submitted as a PDF through a file-sharing service to the project manager's email address.
