Description
The City of Indianola is requesting proposals for replacement of four geothermal heat pumps and one ductless split system at the Indianola Wellness Campus. The work includes furnishing new Trane equipment matching the existing specifications, including Symbio 500 controllers and AirFi interfaces; removing and disposing of existing equipment; reinstalling or replacing ceiling tiles as needed; providing duct connections, geothermal hose kits, refrigerant line sets, condensate connections, and high- and low-voltage connections; and coordinating with Trane on controls. The contractor must recover refrigerant, leak-check and charge the ductless system, start up, test, and commission each unit, coordinate work to minimize disruption while the facility remains open, and provide at least a one-year workmanship warranty. Proposals must include firm and staff qualifications, an itemized lump-sum fee proposal, timeline, three comparable references completed within the past five years, insurance evidence, a surety bonding-capacity letter, and an authorized signature. Subcontracting requires the City's prior written consent.
