Description
Des Moines Independent Community School District is seeking qualified organizations to provide partial and whole-package domestic and international student travel solutions and related services. The district anticipates using multiple awarded travel agencies through a menu of services, with individual schools selecting vendors and professional service agreements issued for each program; placement on the menu does not guarantee an agreement. Responses should address relevant travel regions and excursions, traveler tracking, emergency notifications and crisis response, risk monitoring, after-hours and 24/7 traveler assistance, negotiated airfare and hotel rates, policy-compliance tools, reporting and analytics, advance-booking strategies, cost avoidance, staffing, organizational qualifications, comparable public-entity experience, references, litigation and termination history, and pricing. Proposals are limited to 30 pages, excluding the Proposal Response Cover Page. The initial contract term is one year, with four additional one-year renewal periods available at the district's discretion.
