Description
Troy Community Land Bank is seeking pricing to remove and dispose of the existing boiler and supply and install an approximately 134,000-BTU high-efficiency natural gas boiler system with a minimum 95% AFUE rating, or the highest practical efficiency. The work includes near-boiler piping and fittings, a circulator or ECM pump, expansion tank, pressure relief valve, backflow preventer, pressure-reducing fill valve, isolation and purge valves, low-water cutoff, boiler drain and service valves, boiler trim and controls, approved exhaust venting, combustion air intake, condensate drainage and neutralization as required, gas piping modifications, and connections to existing electrical and heating controls. The contractor must start up and test the boiler and existing heating zones, obtain required permits and inspections, comply with applicable codes, provide manufacturer and labor warranty information, and clean the work area. Pricing must identify the proposed manufacturer and model, BTU input and output, AFUE efficiency rating, and total installed cost including labor, materials, equipment, permits, and disposal.
