Description
The Southwest Ohio Regional Transit Authority is soliciting proposals for comprehensive third-party administration services supporting its self-insured Workers' Compensation program. The selected contractor will administer claims from intake through closure, determine compensability under Ohio law, manage benefits and reserves, maintain claim files, and provide ongoing claims consulting. The scope also includes medical bill review and auditing, case management, independent medical examination coordination, rehabilitation and return-to-work support, cost containment, subrogation, financial controls, reserve analysis, investigations, litigation and hearing support, regulatory compliance, claims audits, required filings, quarterly and annual reporting, actuarial data submissions, secure electronic claims access, training, safety consulting, program evaluations, and transition assistance. Proposals must include separate technical and business volumes, insurance certificates, required affidavits and certifications, a detailed five-year price proposal, and the required vendor questionnaire responses.
