Description
The City of Cincinnati is soliciting a single design-build contract for permanent stabilization of two seasonally active landslide areas: one along US 50 Columbia Parkway south of Beechmont Avenue and one along US 52 Riverside Drive near the Rookwood Overpass. The selected Design-Builder will be responsible for investigating existing conditions; developing preliminary and final stabilization designs; providing licensed professional design services, calculations, plans, specifications, permits, and approvals; and constructing the improvements and site restoration. The scope also includes maintenance of traffic, pedestrian and public safety, utility and stakeholder coordination, environmental compliance, quality assurance and testing, project scheduling and documentation, certified payrolls, record drawings, warranties, and closeout services. The anticipated term is approximately 12 months beginning upon contract execution, with substantial completion required within 270 days after the City's Notice to Proceed. The project has a 5% Small Business Enterprise goal, requires ODOT prequalification, requires the prime contractor to self-perform at least 30% of the original contract price, and requires proposal surety equal to 10% of the proposal value plus performance and payment bonds equal to 100% of the contract value.
