Description
The Southwest Ohio Regional Transit Authority (SORTA) is establishing a pool of licensed general contractors to provide on-call facility and grounds repair, rehabilitation, renovation, maintenance, and construction services at SORTA-owned or operated properties. Work may include structural, electrical, plumbing, mechanical, civil, drainage, roofing, fire protection, and other specialty construction activities, including health and safety corrections, code compliance, weather-damage mitigation, replacement-in-kind projects, and select new construction. The contract is an indefinite-quantity, time-and-materials job order contract with a three-year term and no guaranteed minimum volume. Individual projects will be issued through job orders with detailed scopes, schedules, and fixed lump-sum prices. Each resulting contract has a not-to-exceed construction budget of $200,000. Contractors must provide project planning, qualified staffing, permitting, progress reporting, subcontractor coordination, quality control, prevailing-wage compliance, and a minimum one-year warranty. Proposals require technical and business volumes, insurance certificates, a property tax affidavit, anti-lobbying certification, debarment acknowledgment, pricing information, and MetroMAX participation materials.
