Description
The City of Cincinnati is soliciting bids for a 24-month term contract covering as-needed remedial maintenance on stormwater drainage facilities throughout the city's corporate limits. The contractor must furnish all labor, materials, equipment, supervision, and related services for non-emergency repairs, conversions, and new construction involving storm inlets, inlet connections, manholes, mainline conduits, culverts, ditches, drains, gutters, riprap, pavement, curbs, sidewalks, driveways, ramps, and roadside areas. Work will generally be ordered through work orders and paid on a time-and-materials or unit-price basis using fixed labor billing rates and material/equipment markups. The scope includes required mobilization within 24 hours when directed, completion of each excavated repair substantially within 30 calendar days, maintenance of storm flows and public safety, applicable permits, prevailing wages, and stormwater facility licensing requirements. Bidders must submit the City's electronic bid materials, including the pricing forms, applicable inclusion documents, bid surety, and required response forms. A bid bond or permitted equivalent of at least 10% of the total bid is required. A mandatory pre-bid meeting is scheduled, and the contract requires performance surety of $9.2 million cumulatively, divided among awarded contracts.
