Description
The City of Cincinnati is soliciting construction bids for the Sycamore Street Retaining Wall project, PID 122597. The scope includes removal of the existing retaining wall and railing; excavation; a prefabricated modular retaining wall; drilled shafts; reinforcing steel; seeding and mulching; concrete walks; pavement and curb work; drainage and manhole adjustments; traffic maintenance; pavement markings and signage; high-friction surface treatment; speed cushions; and signal reconstruction. The project documents identify an estimated project total of $8,055,508, although the pricing workbook contains alternate project scenarios and a separate project total of $6,423,095. The prime contractor must be ODOT-prequalified, perform at least 30% of the original contract price with its own organization, meet the 5% ODOT Small Business Enterprise goal or document good-faith efforts, and comply with federal-aid requirements including Davis-Bacon prevailing wages. The bid requires electronic submission through the City's Vendor Self Service system, with completed Volume 2 forms and the completed Volume 3 pricing workbook submitted as a single PDF attachment package as specified.
