Description
The City of Cincinnati is conducting a Request for Information to understand feasible approaches for developing and operating a mobile market that would improve access to fresh, healthy, affordable food in neighborhoods with limited access to full-service grocery stores. The City is seeking input from potential nonprofit, retail, distribution, vehicle, technology, community, and operating partners. Requested information includes operating and partnership models; vehicle, trailer, refrigeration, point-of-sale, accessibility, and related equipment; food sourcing and inventory management; staffing, route planning, host sites, community engagement, regulatory compliance, insurance, food safety, technology, sustainability, risks, implementation timelines, and nonbinding cost estimates. The City has not selected a final operating model, service area, schedule, funding level, or ownership structure, and this RFI is not a procurement solicitation.
